Abstract

This article presents critical reviews of two contemporary poetry collections: Multiple Waves by Binod Mishra and For You to Decide by C. L. Khatri. The first review highlights Mishra's poetic versatility, emotional depth, and thematic diversity, emphasizing the pervasive undertone of sadness, human sensitivity, and varied lived experiences reflected through independent lyrical pieces. The second review examines Khatri's anthology as a rich exploration of human emotions, spirituality, social consciousness, mythology, gender issues, religion, and contemporary realities. It discusses the poet's symbolic language, metaphors, optimism, and philosophical engagement with modern life, portraying him as a significant bilingual voice in Indian English poetry. Together, the reviews underscore the cultural, emotional, and aesthetic value of modern Indian poetic expression.
